Kante – Web design & art direction · Concept by allkind
Web design concept for the architecture studio Kante.

You can tell a good house by its edges. A good website too.
A studio that designs houses and their interiors as one piece of work. The website should make this care visible in the details.
Houses at full width, titles in large capitals that look cast, and plenty of white in between as room to breathe.
A presence as calm and precise as the architecture it shows, one that invites people planning to build to a first conversation.
The idea
Kante is our concept for an architecture studio that designs private houses, from the floor plan to the light switch. The name means edge and stands for what matters in the end: the place where wall meets floor, wood meets glass, house meets garden.
Anyone who wants to build a house isn’t looking for the studio with the most projects, but for one they trust. So the website doesn’t have to be loud. It has to be careful.

Quiet houses, clear edges
The opening shows a single house in its landscape, above it a sentence that explains the studio’s attitude. Then comes the title in heavy capitals, set as tight as a concrete plinth.
The contrast is deliberate: the type is uncompromising, the images are still. That creates the same tension as good architecture.

Honest about time and process
The houses sit staggered in the grid, like buildings on a site plan. Each has a name and a year. Nothing more is needed to make you curious.
The process names six phases and their duration, from the first day on the plot to handover. Anyone planning a house wants to know what they’re getting into. This openness builds more trust than any promise.

«You can see care in the details.»
