Sied – Web design & UI · Concept by allkind
Web design concept for the precision kettle Sied.

If you take coffee seriously, you don’t want to guess the temperature.
Explaining a technical product so calmly that you understand it at once and want to own it.
Temperature as a large number in the centre, recipes instead of data sheets and a clear comparison of the models.
A product page that feels like the first coffee of the morning: clear, warm and free of noise.
The idea
Sied is our concept for a Zurich brand that builds precision kettles for coffee and tea. A product for people who can taste the difference between 85 and 93 degrees.
The task we set ourselves: a website that shows technology rather than explaining it. Calm, precise and as simple as the device itself.
Temperature in the lead role
Instead of an advertising slogan, a number takes centre stage: 93 °C. Below it, the presets from green tea to black tea and a scale from 40 to 100 degrees.
So within seconds you understand what Sied can do, without reading a single paragraph of technical detail.

Moments instead of features
The first brew of the day, 6:40 am in Zurich. The page shows a morning instead of a feature list, with the recipe right next to it: temperature, ratio, bloom and brew time.
That turns technology into something you can picture.

Recipes and a simple choice
Every cup has its temperature: the recipes are sorted by degrees, not by product category. If you’re torn between the models, the comparison shows at a glance which one fits.
Prices are in Swiss francs, the interface is in German, the typography stays sober and light.

«Calm is a design decision.»
