A product for quiet nights needs a shop that doesn’t shout.

(01) Idea

A brand of sleep capsules with stone pine wood and herbs. The shop should show where the product comes from before it sells.

(02) Implementation

The product on a piece of forest floor instead of a white background, calm typography and a purchase area visible from the start.

(03) Goal

An online shop that feels like a mountain forest and still leads to a purchase in a few clicks, on desktop and on mobile.

The idea

arve is our concept for a brand offering sleep capsules with stone pine wood and herbs from the Swiss mountains. The arve, or Swiss stone pine, is known from the Arvenstube: the room where you sleep especially well.

Most food supplement shops look the same: white tin, white background, lots of promises. We wanted to put the product where it comes from.

A shop that tells its story first

The tin stands on a piece of forest floor with moss and stone pine twigs. Behind it, the brand name forms a large, light surface, next to it an altitude scale up to 2,500 metres. You understand straight away: this comes from the mountains.

At the same time, the purchase area is never hidden. One-off purchase or subscription, quantity, basket, all at a glance. On mobile it moves directly below the product, so nobody has to search.

Transparency instead of advertising speak

Each ingredient has its own row that expands: amount, origin and a short sentence about it. If you want to know exactly what you’re swallowing, you’ll find it. If not, you see a calm list.

The section on origin shows a stone pine at the treeline, large and without filters. Here the images do the work that superlatives usually do.
